| Description: |
Paving of approximately 6500 metres of Township of Zorra road known as the 31st Line west of Embro at a 7-meter width. Two blocks from Road 78 to Road 88. These road sections will receive an initial course of 50 mm compacted HL8 followed by a 50mm compacted course of HL3. All asphalt shall be PGAC 58-28 with a minimum of 5.2% asphalt cement content. No recycled asphalt shall be permitted. Placement and compaction of granular A shouldering to match asphalt height following paving. This will be approximately 1000 tonne. Gravel will be supplied to the contractor by the municipality from it’s source located 5.5 kilometers north of Road 88 on the 31st Line. Trucking will not be provided. Loading of granular A will be provided by the municipality. |
